Compress Videos at 0-2% Compression Ratio

Firstly Video compression depend on type/format of video file and which Codecs is used during recording.I used camtesia and camstudio software for recording in the avi format.

I recommend you camstudio becaused its output is by default AVI format and camstudio used Microsoft video 1 compressor during recording.


Camtesia is paid one and also lots of Codecs like DivX, Xvid, ffdshow, microsoft window media 9, Microsoft video 1 etc...

I used Microsoft video 1 compressor in camtesia. If some one need i will upload full version with crack 6.0.1 version

MICROSOFT VIDEO 1: This is a popular codec bundled with all versions of Windows. Microsoft Video 1 provides excellent video quality and reasonable compression ratio.

Rest other some codecs give you low output but not such high compression.


MPEG-4 videos has best quality and good compression but still those need compression like 500 to 2 Mb for those these codec are not good.

AVI = Audio-Video Interleaved AVI video files are very large.If you wanna reduce the amount of memory u needed to save in AVI format.


SO Google it for different codecs and their compression. Lets come to the point how to compress after you record in AVI format using Microsoft Video 1 codecs.


1. Use Software that i told you earlier and out file must be in AVI format using Microsoft Video 1 codecs.

2. Download software 7-z from net its totally Free. u will find here www.7-zip. org

3. Use this settings during compression of AVI recorded file with 7Z.

you will see its compression ratio 1 or 0%, more is the compression ratio less is the size. So you can't compress less than 0% its max.

4. Press OK
