Windows 7 Starter
*********************

Windows 7 Starter is the edition of Windows 7 that contains the fewest
features. Windows 7 Starter is only available in a 32-bit version. The Windows Aero theme is not included in this version. The desktop wallpaper and Visual Styles (Windows 7 Basic) are not user-changeable. Its functions are very limited. Microsoft originally intended to restrict the edition to running 3 simultaneous applications, but this limitation was dropped. This edition is available pre-installed on computers, especially netbooks, through system integrators or computer manufacturers using OEM licences.

Windows 7 Home Basic
**********************

Windows 7 Home Basic is available in emerging markets such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, the People's Republic of China, Colombia, India, Pakistan, Panama, Philippines, Mexico, Russia, Thailand, and Turkey. It is not available in developed technology markets countries including in Western and Central Europe, North America, Hong Kong, Australia and Saudi Arabia. Some Aero options are excluded along with several new features. Home Basic, along with other editions sold in emerging markets, include geographical activation restriction, which requires users to activate Windows within a certain region
or country.

Windows 7 Home Premium
**********************

This edition contains features aimed at the home market segment, such as Windows Media Center, Windows Aero and multi-touch support.
Windows 7 Professional
**********************

This edition is targeted towards enthusiasts and small-business users. It includes all the features of Windows 7 Home Premium, and adds the ability to participate in a Windows Server domain. Additional features include operating as a Remote Desktop server, location aware printing, Encrypting File System, Presentation Mode, Software Restriction Policies (but not the extra management features of AppLocker) and Windows XP Mode. Like Enterprise, Microsoft will support this edition until 2020.

Windows 7 Enterprise
**********************

This edition targets the enterprise segment of the market and is sold through volume licensing to companies which have a Software Assurance contract with Microsoft. Additional features include support for Multilingual User Interface (MUI) packages, BitLocker Drive Encryption, and UNIX application support. Not available through retail or OEM channels, this edition is distributed through Microsoft Software Assurance (SA). As a result it includes several SA-only benefits, including a license allowing the operating of diskless nodes (diskless PCs), the running of multiple virtual machines, and activation via VLK. Like Professional, Microsoft will support this edition until 2020.

Windows 7 Ultimate
**********************

Windows 7 Ultimate contains all of the same features as Windows 7 Enterprise, but unlike the Enterprise edition, it is available to home users on an individual license basis. Windows 7 Home Premium and Windows 7 Professional users are able to upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate for a fee using Windows Anytime Upgrade if they wish to do so. Unlike Windows Vista Ultimate, the Windows 7 Ultimate edition does not include the Windows Ultimate Extras feature or any exclusive features as Microsoft had stated. However, even though it is the consumer equivalent to Enterprise, Microsoft will only support Ultimate until 2015, as per Home Premium.

If you want to run Windows 7 on your PC, here's what it takes:

Adobe Creative Suite 5

In about 12 days we will learn all about Adobe’s Creative Suite 5. You can sign up for the unveiling and watch a timer at Adobe’s launch site, Announcing Adobe CS5! Join for the exclusive Global Online Launch Event, Monday, April 12, 2010.
Before you get too excited, let’s get one thing straight: This is the unveiling, or basically an introduction to the public. Adobe is going so far as to call it a “launch” day but you will not be able to buy the software that day. Adobe has not announced a release day yet, but October 2010 makes sense to me (just a guess). This would position Adobe for a strong end to the calendar year, it would give them sufficient time to work on it after the April introduction, and it lines up exactly two years after the release of CS4. That said September/November would make just as much sense, and some rumors are putting the date earlier, noting an 18 month release cycle.

adobe photoshop cs5 white rabbitAt Adobe Photoshops 20th Anniversary event in San Francisco Kevin Connor, Senior Director of Product Management for Adobe conducted alive demonstration of “Content Aware Fill” ( PatchMatch) functionality in the Adobe Photoshop CS5  code name “White Rabbit”. This functionality was demonstrated in removing a person who was standing against a wall. Rather than the background color showing through it auto filled with the texture of the wall. Another demo was conducted with an imprecise panoramic photo that had been stitched together. Empty areas were automatically filled in between and around the completed stitched photo.

Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 - Mercury Playback Engine Sneak Peek
A discussion with Dave Helmly on Digital Audio Video hardware solutions for Adobe`s video and audio application, he give us a sneak peek at some new technology for an upcoming release of Adobe Premiere Pro CS5
Adobe Mercury Playback Engine is a total gamer changer for NLE users allowing an “off the shelf” nvidia graphics card to handle the heavy requirements of today’s HD workflows also allows users to get more power from their CPUs. By using GPU and CPU in parallel, you get unbelievable performance running in a clean 64 bit operating system. Remember, all future versions of Premiere (Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 and Adobe After Effects CS5 or CS “Next”) are 64-bit only OSX 10.6 or 64-bit edition of Microsoft Windows Vista or Windows 7. By running in parallel, the CPU can take over tasks where the GPU isn’t used.

ADOBE PREMIERE TUTORIAL 2

This is the tut to create an awesome effect with a simple pik in a video

I got this effect when i was making a
video...i had a pik in the vid...initially all i did was increased the size of the pik as the music progressed...it was looking nice...but i was look in for something more dramatic..so i invented this...

THIS TUTORIAL IS HARD TO UNDERSTAND SO CONCENTRATE..

1. in a start frame make the pik small size n in end frame make it medium (not large)... as video will progress from start frame to end frame its size will also progress..

2.now copy the same image in second layer.. in the start frame... make the size a li'l more smaller and in end frame make the size a li'l more larger( this time make it large)

3. now...apply blending of cross fading with suitable transparency...

4. u can change the transparency of both layers with time to make it look more dramatic...

5. now feather both layers according to the look u want n what looks good according to background n theme

6. this effects looks good if u use dip to black effect of transition

7. use Gaussian blur at suitable time to add cherry to the cake.. i have not specified settings of blending, transparency and feather as it totally depends on content

ENJOY

ADOBE PREMIERE TUTORIAL 1

This is to create an effect when someone thinks about his past in a video in adobe premiere

1. in the main layer just place a simple scene in which ur hero or wateva is just still n thinking like this

2. now the area around the character is not so important so apply feather on it. it should be in amount according to the area your character occupies on scene.

3. now in a new layer add your scenes of past. use blend settings of crossfade n transparency.. i cant specify these settings as they purely depend on scene content

4. u can use 1 more layer 4 scenes of past blended with 2nd layer as this may give an extremely nice effect if things in scenes are not messed up... it wil be like this

this effect will not work out in a pik...as its a video nd the motion is not visible..still u can see wat i m doing

4. now increase the speed of past scenes to very high n in background apply suitable music...like the one used in movies in scenes like these..

ENJOY
